Welcome to the OC-pageant 2016!

This is a pageant for OCs (original characters). Each round you have to draw your OC with a new outfit suiting a given theme!

Each round several contestants are "kicked out" until one OC remains to claim the title of "Mr./Mrs. OC 2016"!

EVERYONE is welcome to join!

Requirements for joining the pageant:

you need to be a member of this group (membership is automatically approved, free and can be terminated anytime; all you need to do is hit the “Join our Group” button at the top of the group’s frontpage)
You need to have an original character or fan-character of your own
The OCs which were placed first, second and third last pageant are not allowed to join this year’s pageant (the owners of these OCs are, however, allowed to join with different OCs)

All you need to sign up for the event is to create an audition as follows:

Round 0: Auditions are open!

create a full-body picture of your OC/FC wearing their usual outfit
The audition picture must be NEW (created after January 4th 2016, which is the day when auditions started) and be specifically created for this event
The OC you enter for this pageant MUST be your OWN (no licenced characters; fan-characters are okay)
You are NOT ALLOWED to borrow an OC from someone else to enter the pageant with; you are NOT ALLOWED to ask/hire someone else to draw your OC for you
If your OC is an obvious recolor, they won't be accepted
Your OC may be female or male (or neither)
Your OC may be of any species, they may even be a robot. BE AWARE HOWEVER that this pageant is (mostly) about fashion; your OC needs to be able to change clothes
You are allowed to enter as many OCs to this pageant as you like. BE AWARE HOWEVER that you have to enter multiple pictures EACH round if you enter more than one OC. E.g. If you enter 3 OCs to this event, you need to draw 3 individual pictures for EACH round

Your Audition MUST include the following:

the NAME of your OC must be in the TITLE of the deviation
you need to link back to THIS GROUP somewhere in the description (type ": devTheOC-pageantOfDA :" without the spaces)
fill out the following form and include it in the artists description

Relationships (family, friends, lovers etc.):

Any other important details we all need to know about this OC (special abilities, strange obsessions etc.):

Deadline for submission: February 12th at 23:59. All time-zones considered!
